Getting Started with Adhesive Film To work with d-c fix adhesive films, you'll need scissors or a utility knife, a ruler or measuring stick, a pen, and a plastic smoother. The surface should be smooth, dust-free, and grease-free; any untreated wood should be primed first.

Our Window and Glass Foils d-c fix window foils combine attractive decoration with elegant privacy protection. Application Instructions For self-adhesive window foils, clean the surface, measure and cut the film, spray the window with water or application fluid, peel off the backing, and position the foil, pressing out excess water and air bubbles.

For static window foils, the process is similar, but you'll wet the statically adhering side of the foil before applying it to the window.

For static premium foils, you'll also peel off a transparent backing before applying the foil.
